Rejection Can Be an Opportunity

So, what was Albert Einstein talking about when he said those words in today’s quote?

Well, first let’s look at the part where he said “those who said no to me”. It would seem that there were times when Einstein approached people with a proposed idea, those people turned him down.

Maybe it was to move forward with a theory? Or to do some new research? And maybe he needed funding to do that? And because what he propose was something so new and foreign to those people, they did not have the foresight to say “yes”.

Whatever happened, we can see from this quote that Einstein is no stranger to rejections.

Learn to Be Grateful

Then the other part of his words showed that he was not someone who gave up just because his ideas were rejected. In fact, he saw it as an opportunity to do the thing himself. And he was grateful for that.

We should learn this from Einstein. To never see rejections as failures and setbacks. When others say no to us, we should look take a look at the matter objectively.

Then, when we are convinced that we are right. We believe in what we do. Then we must take action, and do it. And if need be, do it ourselves.
