I have been using Pexels for years.  And I wrote a review about it.

Every month, Pexels hosts one or more challenges meant to inspire their community and offer new things to shoot or techniques to practice.

For example in July 2021, there was the Summer Mood challenge.

The challenge is all about capturing the summer vibe. It can be an image shot in the city, out in the countryside, or on holiday to a new destination. It can also be wherever you spend your summer, too. The idea is to show Pexels what makes your summer special.

For all challenges, there are terms and conditions to follow. Please do read them to be sure you comply and qualify to join.

Some of the challenges are sponsored by Pexels and others are presented by a sponsor. One thing stays the same: you can always win something pretty sweet.

You can find the current photo and video challenges on the Pexels homepage within the photo grid.

You can also find them on the challenge page.

Every challenge offers different types of prizes. Some can be cash. Some can be valuable items like the latest high end branded camera or photography equipment.

For example, in the July Summer Mood challenge, the prize is $50 or $100 cash.

As you can see, there are active challenges to participate in.

And opportunities to win money.

If you have already joined Pexels, and uploaded some photos and videos, keep a look out for Photo Challenges. Submit your photos.

Of course, do it appropriately. Do it according to the Challenge. See the information about the Challenge.

What kind of photos they are looking for? Watch out for the Tips and Conditions. Follow accordingly.

I have submitted one of my photos to the Summer Mood challenge. Maybe I will win. Maybe not.

More importantly, this is fun. Plus, it does create awareness of my profile. And in my profile, I have provided a link to this website. So, that can create awareness of my brand.

The point is – don’t take this too seriously. Join in the fun!

If you actually prefer to have an online business to make more money for the long term, then I recommend affiliate marketing. And, you need to learn how to do it right.
